🍳 Easy Shakshuka Recipe – Middle Eastern Poached Eggs in Tomato Sauce
Shakshuka is a delicious and healthy Middle Eastern dish made with poached eggs in a spicy tomato and pepper sauce. It’s perfect for breakfast, brunch, or even dinner!

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 onion (finely chopped)

1 red bell pepper (sliced)

2 garlic cloves (minced)

1 teaspoon ground cumin

1 teaspoon paprika

½ teaspoon chili flakes (optional for heat)

1 can (400g) chopped tomatoes

Salt and pepper to taste

4 eggs

Fresh parsley or coriander (for garnish)

Crumbled feta cheese (optional)

Bread for serving (like pita or crusty bread)

Heat the olive oil in a pan over medium heat.

Add the onion and bell pepper. Sauté for about 5 minutes until soft.
