🍕 How to Make a Delicious Homemade Pizza
📝 Ingredients
For the Pizza Dough:
2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 tsp instant yeast
1 tsp sugar
¾ tsp salt
1 tbsp olive oil
¾ cup warm water
For the Pizza Sauce:
1 cup canned crushed tomatoes or tomato puree
2 cloves garlic (minced)
1 tbsp olive oil
½ tsp dried oregano
½ tsp chili flakes (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste
For the Toppings (customize as you like):
1 to 1½ cups grated mozzarella cheese
Onion slices
Bell peppers (red/green/yellow)
Sliced mushrooms
Black olives
Cooked chicken, pepperoni, or sausages (optional)

Step 1: Make the Dough
In a mixing bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes until foamy.
Add flour, salt, and olive oil. Mix and knead the dough for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
Cover the bowl with a towel or plastic wrap and let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 to 1.5 hours, or until doubled in size.
Step 2: Prepare the Sauce
Heat olive oil in a pan. Add minced garlic and sauté for a few seconds.
Add crushed tomatoes, oregano, chili flakes, salt, and pepper.
Cook on low heat for 8-10 minutes until slightly thickened. Set aside to cool.
Step 3: Assemble the Pizza
Preheat your oven to 220°C (425°F).
Roll out the dough into your preferred shape (round or rectangular).
Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough.
Add your favorite toppings and sprinkle a generous amount of mozzarella cheese.
Step 4: Bake
Place the pizza on a baking tray or pizza stone.
Bake for 12–15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly. Garnish with fresh basil if desired.
